My Guitar Rig

Using Cakewalk as my guitar rig. I don't have to crank up a hardware amp and disturb the family and the neighbors to keep my fingers in tune. Just playing through the speaker monitors or headphones. In the image below all software shown are free which is really a good thing. There is also TH3 and Amplitube Free in the FX bin if I need to enable either of them. With audio buffers set to 64, the signal chain is as follows: CA-2A ---> BC Free Amp ---> Sonitus Delay ---> Oril River reverb with a plate preset.

Fractal Design Define R4 Silent Computer Case; Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard; AMD FX4300 CPU; Asus/nVidia 210 Silent Video Card; 4GB Kingston HyperX Ram; 2 x 500 GB Western Digital Hard Drives; Corsair CX 500M Power Supply; Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB Audio Interface; Emu 0404 PCI Audio Interface; Line 6 GuitarPort; Yamaha PSR-453; Windows 10 Home; Sonar Professional. Cakewalk by Bandlab.

    😁

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Nice. Just shows you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a great tone.
