Performance MIDI Files

I don't profess to be a MIDI file producer.
Nonetheless, I know a serious amount about MIDI file production ........ thanks to  ..'The school of Hard Knocks'..........but 'I tips me lid'  ( OR 'Raise My Hat !) to many of the guys who produce some simply amazing MIDI repros of the songs we all know and love through commercial channels.
I am a MIDI File Tweaker.........per Cakewalk of course............... to suit our ( My wife and I's) live backing track requirements.

Some commercial MIDIS are no doubt ... [link=mailto:CR@%P]CR@%P[/link].
Yet Others are simply astounding .............working within the parameters they are limited to.
Just a comment.
What Ya think other Musos ?

I thunked a few when I was younger:

There's probably more but I have to dig on wayback machine.
Been a while, format 1 is so versatile, though.
