YIKES....$199... I got Smart EQ+ and it's awesome. Got it for peanuts though so that was the deciding factor. One thing about Sonible, they don't keep track of what you own, so they don't offer upgrades to Frei:raum

If I understand well, Gullfoss is dynamic while frei:raum is static (but has some other cards up its sleeve). Windows version in the works, which they will offer at 40% off I remember.

Well, it’s actually quite wonderful. Does to EQs what Zynaptiq Intensity does to comps and exciters. Replaces a whole series of plugins and gets you fast where you need to be. These magical wands are the future of digital. Kudos.

If you’re happy with a response speed of “up to” 4 times per second. That’s the Hornet for ya. Gullfoss does more than 100 times per second. Worlds apart.

If you’re happy with a response speed of “up to” 4 times per second. That’s the Hornet for ya. Gullfoss does more than 100 times per second. Worlds apart.
But they're both hit & miss. sometimes they'll work, other times not.

Has it been updated or fixed? it was problematic last time I tried, Hornet was 'iffy' in general as well.
Just got Gullfoss. Version 1.1.4 works mighty fine.

I got two offline activations. Also read that they’ll add a more detailed version with additional control for people who want more tweaking. Personally I’m quite happy with the five controls in my Mac version.
