Installing CbB on new computer - Still need SPLAT as well?

So, I am going to install CbB on a new computer. Do I also need to install Sonar Platinum to assure I still have all the stuff I had in SPLAT?

CbB will happily install without any need for any previous version of Sonar.
 
The only reason you'll ever need install to a previous Sonar is if you still need to use something that was not included with CbB.
If so, just do a custom install of the old Sonar and choose what bits you need.
