It instills confidence that you are on the team Jesse! Glad you are here! Cheers

Hey Jesse!!! I wrangled a Cakewalk T-shirt from you for submitting an entry to the Direct X-Files way back when. I'm a lot older and fatter now and even if I hadn't lost the T-shirt, it wouldn't fit anyway. Welcome back! When does Ron Kuper join the team :)

Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time.

I think you need to change your avatar to Agent Jost :) The DirectX files was fun. Always liked that name.

The only weak spot of Cake is that there are not many video's produced publicly to teach the general audience how to navigate the aspects. For example Biab has a ton of videos on many topics related to sequencing. There are private companies that contain Sonar Explanations and fantastic tutorials . VTC, Safari Books online, but there aren't a lot of public videos. However VTC is excellent I can't praise their tutorials enough.

Welcome back Jesse. In regards to the Ron Kuper reference: he popped in a few times when Gibson stopped development. He offered his expertise for an open source Sonar project should the circumstances be right. Maybe he could be “tricked” into coming back.
