IRS is Suing Me.  No, I'm not in trouble with the IRS; that's just the name of the song.

I get a lot of these scam calls and once in a while they leave a message. A couple of them are in this song and
I downloaded a couple more from the internet.

Pretty simple song structure - just three unvarying chords, a bass track, drums, strum and accompaniment gtr.

Well the IRS they're suing me
That's what the nice lady is telling me
But I never heard her  mention my name
And her grammar seems a little strange

The sheriff's on the phone and he's mad as can be
It seems I didn't show up for my jury duty
He says I gotta pay a fine at the mini-mart
Put a hundred fifty dollars on a Visa gift card

This is Microsoft we have some news for you
Your computer's been hacked. Now here's what to do
We're gonna fix it for you  we have the solution
But you gotta send us money thru Western Union

My Microsoft license, it's expired??
I'm gonna take to my bed cause that news is too dire
You know I'd better call that telephone number
Wait a minute I've got a Macintosh computer

Caller ID is my confirmation
That my bank had called for some information
Some suspicious activity had just occurred
So they helped me log in and change my password

Hey I finally got some really good news
From out of the blue I won a Caribbean cruise
But they cannot send me my ticket just yet
I gotta pay the tax with a cashier's check

Man you gotta curb your gullibility
And that's gonna be your responsibility
They're gonna keep on calling all of the time
As long as someone out there falls for their line

These crooks that do this make me so mad!  Glad to see you're smart enough not to buy into the scam.  I still get the Nigerian Million Dollar inheritance emails, which I toss.

This is AWESOME! I really like that you talked your way through the tune, that works perfectly. I can relate to the calls, we get them all the time. What I was saying about the talking, I've come to realize that a lot of great singers that I like that I call singers are really just talking and adding a little bit of time to their voice rather than trying to carry a song.
