Volume automation not working

I add an automation lane, then put the nodes where I'd like them and nothing happens to the volume. It stays the same. I have clicked all the "R" on and still nothing. What am I missing here? Thanks.

What are you sending the MIDI track data to, a hardware synth or a VST instrument.  Does that synth respond to CC7 (volume) events?

It's an audio clip not midi.

I restarted and it's working. Then I had to restart again to get it to work again. So far so good. Will report back if it stops working. Thanks.

I've seen this as well with clip gain and volume automation. Rather than a restart, try changing the "Track filter" to clips, then back to Volume automation.

chuckebaby, thanks. Will keep that in mind for the next time. And check it as soon as I reopen.
