The track flows along nicely and has a summery vibe to it, nice on. Although I get the concept of the track I found the drums came across slightly distorted, especially the kick, maybe they are a touch too compressed?

Vicente Dance music for sure. Kind of brought back the disco era (for me anyway). Really liked the vocal treatment throughout esp that background around 1:35. Can't say that I understood the lyrics, but that's ok. I listened thru headphones and it seemed to me the kick drum could stand out more. And extra points from me because your song has a memorable tune (which sounded a bit familiar in places but I can't pinpoint it - I'm probably wrong) I think you have a winner.

Thanks Biodiode and Bjorn for your comments. The drums has a bit of Samba vibe and the xylophones which creates this summer feel to it. Let me take a look at the distortion and maybe bringing the kick a bit more. For the tune that sound familiar, it could be. I heard that happen to a lot of people who write songs. I guess subconsciously our minds store all this information. And then somehow they come on and influence the creative process. It would be great if there is an app that can search for musical patterns.

Listened to this 3 times and I like it better every time. Not really into EDM, but this melody could fit into any genre. The vocal effects are cute, like you got Alvin and the Chipmunks singing BGV for you. John B.

Thanks John for the comments. I guess you have not listen to EDM lately. These are elements that are often included.

How do you do that?

I don't know if you raised the kick drum's volume, but my listen told me it was pretty perfect during the vocal section, and a little too loud in the intro section. Ymmv for sure. I like the different elements and the panning and reverb are all very easy on the ears. The very beginning is an abrupt loud hit - that caught me off guard and I found it jarring. Don't know if you want to ease the listener in to your chill track, or jump them. ? Hope that makes sense. Cool track, thanks for sharing it! -Tom

Thanks Chris and Tom Tom, I did lowered the volume on the kick at the beginning and then turn it up a bit during the vocals. Looks like I should tame it a bit more. Other parts of the song the kick was tamed also along with the bass. Thanks
