Maag EQ4 causing crashes... sometimes

Wondering if anyone on this forum is using the Maag EQ4 (Plugin Alliance version) and has had any issues in Sonar Platinum and/or Cakewalk by Bandlab?

In some projects I've had Maag crash Sonar Platinum as soon as I load the plugin and touch even one dial. On the other hand I've had it work just fine in other projects. To test it, a while ago I put about 6 instances of it on a file and it was fine. Another time I had it on a project and I couldn't even get the file to open. So I've learnt not to trust it, which is a shame because its a great eq.

Today I finally downloaded Bandlab's version of Cakewalk after holding on to Platinum all this time. I see there has been a lot of bug fixes. Is it possible that Maag and Cakewalk Bandlab will get along and I can begin to trust the plugin?

Thanks Michael. Are you using the Plugin Alliance version?

    Yes, the PA version.

Do you have any other PA plugins that are giving you trouble?

I am using CbB. And I akso have SPlat on the same machine but not actively using it.

Maag is the only Plugin Alliance plugin I own. After experiencing instability with it I have avoided their plugin range.
