Unwanted Background Grooves and Rhythms Playing While Recording (SOLVED)

When I record a keyboard part such as simple minor 7th chord as I play it back or look at the track it has unwanted background rhythms or grooves even extra notes. Anyone know why and how I can fix it?  Dimension Pro lounge lizard doesn't matter. Any soft synth. I'm using Roland A-300 Pro.  Thanks very much for any help in advance.

Have you got the arpeggiator enabled in the track inspector?

I checked that and it's not enabled. I'm going to reboot. I hate doing that because the delay breaks my train of thought and when I come back to what I was doing it's not the same flow and idea wise

Ok I rebooted and now it's recording fine. I know in about 2 hours or just when I think I've got it recorded just right I'll listen back but it will be back to the annoying background stuff again......think happy thoughts .....think happy thoughts .....

Are you using a drum VST? I know I had this and it was SD3 had a loop loaded with the kit and playback would trigger the loop. Open your Drums and look see.

Wow! That worked as far as I can tell.  It was on. I thought I'd turned it off. Guess it had been too long since I checked it.
Months go by sometimes in between playing with a project. I usually don't use many soft synths cept' drums but on this one there are a lot of tracks. Thanks for the help!!!
