Win 10 Fall "Upgrade" in October

FWIW, the next Win 10 "upgrade" is planned for October.

I get the "Windows 10 Insider" advanced versions.  The latest Insider version issued 8/31 is mostly what the Fall Upgrade will be and it hasn't "broken" anything.  I have Sonar Platinum and CbB installed in the Insider version and all works (that I tested).  I have recent Win 10 compatible hardware and one reason I do not have any problems with the advanced versions. There will (most likely) be problems for some with older hardware and some may not even get the upgrade if the hardware is not compatible.

    Thanks for the timely info!

I left the online world early this year after the fall update killed all three of my pcs. My new win 10 pc is doin' great. I've lost all GAS cos I can't go online and buy anything or activate it but I miss the tutorials most of all. I think I will upgrade to win 10 pro so I can join the World someday but I'm sure in doing so windows will catch me in the process and update and kill this pc as well, so probably not for quite a while as I'm finishing a lot of old projects.
