Hey, Reece,

How are you, buddy?  It's really great to hear from you!

Thank you, Sir, for giving this a listen and for your very kind comments!  You've always been one of the nicest guys here on the forum and one of the first half dozen guys here who welcomed me and helped me out when I first joined the forum 10 years ago.

Thanks again, and also for all your great input, observations and support over the years, greatly appreciated!

Have a great night, Reece!

Hey, Tom,

Big thanks, good buddy!  I truly appreciate your insight, input and good observations on all my stuff.

I uploaded the remix (same link above) with your suggestions and input from all the great people here on the forum who were kind enough to take time to listen and comment.

I upped the verse vocals a bit as everyone mentioned, and I tried to tweak the EQ and squeeze out a little more definition from the bass guitar.  LOL, Now, I'm hoping I didn't screw up the volume levels of the whole mix making the corrections!

If you get a chance to check the new mix, please let me know what you think.

Thanks again, Tom, and have a great night!
Bob

Hiya Bob - sorry I'm late to this one.
I didn't hear the original mix so I'm only hearing the latest.
Your voice is sounding great and those guitars....they're the business.
Mix is nice and balanced to my ears.

snake charmer!
whenever i listen to your stuff,
it always takes me back to the rainbow stuff,
tho it feels more like a tighter maiden thing...
you need more kick in the mix.
LOL, just kidding... that's a nice fat kick, and is correct for the genre.
me, i'd take it down a db, and lock it in a bit more with the bass as far as the levels go
but again, a spot on performance....
one of your better vox performances, good harmonies too!
dig the solo guitar tones....

Hey, Rob, How are you, bro?  It's really great to hear from you!

Big thanks for giving this one a listen for me, and for your always good input and observations!  You've always been a great guy and one of the best performers and producers here on the forum, and I really appreciate your ideas and suggestions on my stuff!

I'll take another listen to and probably tweak the kick drum, as you suggested.  LOL, because of my decades of "live" playing in larger venues through huge PA systems, I'm used to going for a Kick like a cannon and a snare like a shotgun, and sometimes I over do it!   Especially when I've been away from recording and mixing for such a long time.

Thanks again, Rob, I truly appreciate your input, and I'm grateful that you liked the song!

Have a good one!
Bob
