New Sonar Platinum instalation

Hi friends,

Before Sonar had been sold to Bandcamp I have bought the Platinum version with lots of vsti and I am about to make a new install since I will update to windows 10. Can I still use the Cakewalk Command Center or do I have to make a new installation from Bandcamp? In that case I will loose lots of plugins? Thank you.

    Have you tried?

CCC is still up and running, so I'd give it a go if I was you.

I did a full install from the CCC over the weekend. Definitely install Sonat first, and all your plugins. Once you have Sonar up and running, then install Cakewalk by Bandlab.
I would use the “verbose” option, and “custom install” on both.
That way you control where everything goes.
