Waves L3-16 MultiMaximizer not working in Sonar

Just purchased Waves L3-16 MultiMaximizer plugin, but it will not run in Cakewalk.  When invoked, and when the track is played, a strange noise is heard, then the program stops, crashes, and the fault reporter comes up.  Usually used task manager to close Sonar.  Plug works fine in Presonus Studio One Pro v3 and Mixcraft Pro v8, but not in CW.  This was true before the recent update and after it.  Anybody got any ideas?  Other Waves plugins, both v9 and v10 are working well in CW and other DAWs.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left...

I got L3-16 a couple of days ago myself. It's working fine for me.

The only issue I had was the scan failed to pick up the newly installed waves plugins at first.

I uninstalled all the waves plugins, re-scanned, installed them again & re-scanned, and all was good.

I bought the L3 Multimaximizer about a month ago.  Working fine.  Hope you find an answer.

I also own it. I haven’t had an issue like that but you might want to check your latency settings. That vst takes extra system resources. Not knowing your use, triy it out on a two track mixed down version of your work first.

Well, I went back to Waves Central, was able to reinstall it, and it seems to work OK now.  Funny, this is the first instance of a Wave Plugin that malfunctioned.  It was encouraging to get it back into the fold and working apparently well, especially since the "list price" was $549 and I was able to get for $29 under their Mastering Plugins sale.  Thanks for the assistance everyone!
