Error 32 Ox8007007e ?

Been a Sonar X2 Producer user for 5 years, yesterday it decided that ALL the Sonitus FX and Groove Player (metronome) were installed?. Every time i try to load a Sonitus program I get "Error 32  Ox8007007e"....module not compatible? (after 5 years?)
This means no compression , delay etc ?
Same result in Cakewalk by Bandlab? Tried to update,no good, tried restore, no good? tried ant virus?
Any help would be good....??

Sonitus are DirectX Audio effects (DX), rather than VST.

If you open the Cakewalk Plug-in Manager and select the DirectX category, do you see them listed there?

The folder path for them should be: 'C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Plugins\'.

It is strange that they went away, but it's possible that a Windows update changed something, perhaps they are no longer appearing in the Windows Registry.  If that is the case, running the Sonar X2 installer again and selecting just the plugin components for re-install should correct that.

Thanks, yes they are all listed as you advised but won't load ..you get Win 32 error Ox8007007e.. I have been using Sonar X2 Producer for about 5 years..never had that problem before?, and have lost my original discs I think. It has also affected Cakewalk by Bandlab same... I am not sure how to run the Sonar installer or whether I even have it?
    Any help would be appreciated.

There are quite a few hits when searching Google for this error. It appears to be a system problem.

The Sonar X2 installers should still be available for download in your Cakewalk.com account.  Just look for them under "My Products".

But as others have pointed out, you may have developed a Windows issue.  In any case, I would probably try to install the plugins again to see if that may help.  It you get it corrected in Sonar, that will probably fix BandLab as well, as that uses the same shared plugins.
