Adding attenuator

I just bought a used rock crusher attenuator.

I'm getting some speaker cable.

I need to join male to male.

Do I need a special dual female coupler for speakers or will my regular one do?

I have one i have long used to join guitar cables.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

    Thanks mosvalve. Is the risk that it comes disconnected? Or is there more to it?

    This locks the connector on both sides so they won't slip out. Thats what the red tabs are for to release the connector
