weird thing since the latest update

Latest build, running Cakewalk as an Administrator (windows 10 fully up to date too) - it throws up the User Account Control changes to hard drive Yes/No panel.  Haven;t been able to get this to top - a minor irritation, but it's that weird feeling when you're not quite in control of what the app is doing

    >running Cakewalk as an Administrator
    Why?
Except for installing or authorizing something you shouldn't have to run any user level program as admin.
That may have been acceptable in XP but is not with Windows 7 or 10.

I run it as admin - some VSTs require it.  No problems here.  Latest updates of both Cakewalk and Windows 10.  I know that's not helpful, except to say that running updated versions of both doesn't necessarily cause issues so you may need to look for other explanations.  But what are your User Account Control settings?
