Forward Into Downfall (Rock)

Hello Rockfans,
a song about our "smartphone generation". Big brother is watching you everywhere!
A few words to the mix would be nice

    Hi, Harry,

Excellent work on this great rocker and very cool video!

Both you and Eddie did a fantastic job on this.  Good songwriting and composition, well thought out lyrics, excellent performances by both of you, and the mix sounds clear and punchy.

I really like how the flow of the different parts keeps the listener's interest, and the playing and tone of both the acoustic solo and electric solos sounded great!

I also agree with the message completely.  Everybody is always so concerned and complaining about their privacy online, but they post every little detail of their lives on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, etc, and they willingly carry around a sophisticated global tracking device in their pocket or purse 24/7, and then pay a huge monthly phone bill for the privilege!  And, they can't seem to live without it being more than 2 feet away from them for any length of time!  LOL, It's really a crazy world!

PS: Your Anti Pharma song and video was also cool and really well done!

Dynamite work, Harry, really good stuff, my friend!

    Have a Rockin' weekend!
    Bob

Ironically some people will watch this on their phone.

cool tune! mix-wise, maybe the vocals could be just a tad louder? especially so when the lead guitar competes with them. The guitar is winning. I'd like to hear the lyrics more clearly from the get-go.

    very nice performances indeed!

    cheers,

Bob, Mark and Tom thank you all that you took the time to listen to the song.

@Bob: I'm happy that you like the production and that from the mouth of a great guitarist!
@Mark: Thanks for listening and your kind words!
@Tom: For me as german is it hard to mix vocals in english language, so that between volume and comprehensibility of the text is given. Yes, you right ironically some people watch this on their smartphones :)

for some reason I always have a hard time watching a video and listening to a song

this one was easier for me because you showed a lot of the band playing, and I could see what they were playing on their instruments. I would have liked to see that solo @ 4:00 being played

well recorded and video taped, quality all around

I struggled to understand the lyrics

I'm not sure when the downfall started, and I'm not sure where or when the bottom is but hopefully we're all on a bungee cord and we never really splat, just get rebounded back up

Great video and music. Couldn't make out the lyrics too well tho. Maybe post the lyrics as text.
Nice to see some older guys rockin' out.

Mark, Jesse, Wookiee and Bjorn thank you for listening and your comments to song.
For Bjorn and Jesse here the lyrics:

FORWARD INTO DOWNFALL (by Eddie Lee Schrock)

When will this blood shed end bring the love back again
Forward in to darkness repeat the past one more end

I see pain children cry technology pollutes their minds
screens replace their dreams staring into nothing generation me

kiss the beast touch her screen blankly staring like a zombie
generation me worship the selfie kids today tomorrows sheep
they are lazy they are weak share your story with the beast
surrender your privacy you can't hide from the death machine
    marching forward into downfall

track the masses in their classes learn their lies freewill goodbye
mind control inside your phone tracking you everywhere you go
recording every thing you know soon we will see their plans
depopulate most of man wifi kills our right to breed
    falling forward into downfall

    marching forward into downfall
the beast machine makes you a slave
    falling forward into downfall
feeding on the sheep as they sleep

Thanks for posting the lyrics. They're really good especially since English isn't your primary language.
