i feel like I'm at the circus!

    under the big tent

the elephants, the cats, the clowns the artists

    and then that dog

the one I came to see

dancing like a cat on a tight rope

    very creative and boundary eliminating

Is Downward Facing Dog not a Yoga position David?

    Interesting interpretation.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Creative for sure. That bouncy thing perhaps went on a little too long.
Did I hear some Mozart in there?

    I heard:

    "Everbody's smokin' pot"
    or
    "The Oompa Loompa Song"

    Kind of interchangeable, ya?

Definitely get a circus feel to the song.  BTW downward dog sounds like something from Kama Sutra (can I say that here?).  Anyway ----- Nice one David.

To me the track is funky - it sounds like a mixture of Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock. Interesting - nice job.

    I came, I listened, I liked.

Yes Mozart got quoted. Maybe Walter Carlos did, too.  But without a doubt, this is super original. Nice job!

Tom I wondered where you were! :D  Walter Carlos?  This is basically just a plagal cadence and an octave over and over again. :D:D  But you're right about mozart.

Thanks for the kind words, bill.  You seem jolly and affable, like a good song writing partner.  Where do you live?

I had to listen a few times because there's more here than meets the ear.  I like all of it, but the drums.  There seems to be more reverb on them than the other instruments, making them sound like they're in another space.  Just a minor nit, really.  You did very well!

    All the best,

Thanks for pointing that out Lynn, I really should revisit this piece.  I know what you mean, esp at the beginning.
