Neat. Didn't see anything there I really need though. I wouldn't mind a banjo, but all of his are 4-string tenor models.

I really hope they clean up their tracks and make good guitars again. I but most of the resent was good. But i rmean the auto tunig thing, new models not looking good at all.

Im not a gibson guy. I play Ibanez. But even Ibanez needs a strong Gibson.

My 1971 Gibson EB-3L (in walnut) arrives today. I bought it from the original owner.

Anything I think I may need or want may just turn out to be repeats of guitars I used to have ...
I can say  I sure miss having a Dobro ....
Banjo ? forgetaboutit ....no KEN DO ....
I have to be in the right mood to listen to Banjo
When I'm not the sound of Banjo scares my but hole much more than the idea of Bubba the fictional cell mate from behind bars demanding  me to put on the miss piggy Halloween costume so we can splash around in the showers while pretending to be at a tropical waterfall doing Pig Squeals &  Karaoke Duets

I had all of Mason Proffit's albums back in the day. Earl Scruggs once said that their banjo player (John Micheal Talbot who later become a Franciscan Monk who wrote a lot of famous liturgical music) was the best he ever heard. It was the last minute or so of this song in particular that made me realize a banjo has a greater purpose than just being used for Bluegrass:

I had what was basically the six string guitar version of that called the SG-200. The basses might have been okay, but the guitar was horrible. Undoubtedly the worst guitar to ever have the Gibson name on it up till that time. To make matters worse, mine had a warped neck.
