You make the other track the focus by selecting the note then you can edit it's velocity. Or select it in the track pane to the right and make sure follow focus is selected. It requires one extra click to change the track focus.

Or do it in event list. Select both tracks, go to event list, select the notes you want to edit. Then Process: Scale velocity. Put the velocity you want in both start and end. This will give both tracks' notes that velocity. Or any number of notes you select in those tracks. As usual, there are a number of ways to do things.

One way to do this is to put all clips you want to simultaniously edit the velocities of on different Take lanes of the Same midi track, then highlight both clips. Open Piano roll view if you haven't already, then draw your heart away. When you're done, drag the clips back to there original tracks. Then the velocities are a perfect match.

This seems to imply that in the new PRV (Post SPLAT 2017.01) one can't just lasso the notes from all the tracks and then just edit the velocities, either manually with Smart Tool or Process > Velocity?

In Splat 2017.01 I have no problem lassoing notes from 2 or more tracks and editing velocities, both with the smart tool or Process > Velocity. Could it be the "Child Protective Cap* in the new PRV design is limiting the edit to one track only?

Does View > Show Multiple Lanes from the PRV menu help?

    HI:)

If both tracks play the same, but doesn't have the same velocity, perhaps you can chain or link both clips.

Just turn "auto lock" off. That will allow you to select two or more tracks and adjust their velocities together.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
