Copy paste to new project with different sample rates?

Project 1 44.1 / 24bit
Project 2 48/ 24bit
Drag/Drop is not auto converting audio. C/P also does not auto convert audio.
Need to copy tracks from P1 to P2, What's the best / easy way to do this?

How are you determining that audio pasted into P2 has not been converted to 48Ksps in P2?

There is a message that pops up reading:
"the clipboard Audio format does not match the current project sample rate"
and the file does not paste to the new project.

I raised a feature request ticket a few months back with BandLab with regards to copy/pasting tracks between projects.

It's less than ideal, especially with regard to instrument tracks.

I did get an acknowledgement from them, so I guess it's in their list of things to consider.

There are audio file export and import features. Does this accomplish the conversion? Maybe a bit of a work around - but I think it would not be much different than say importing a file from another program.
