Neighbor Bob

Neighbor Bob
https://soundcloud.com/orygun/neighbor-bob

This is another "novelty" song.
I posted this a while ago but not here. I made a few edits so the vocal
sounds a little better, as much as can be done with my vocal anyway.

Just shows you that there's ALWAYS something to write a song about, no?  Your lyrics are really fun.  Good job.

    Thanks, David.
Replying to your question in another thread, yes I do like my RME UCX. I shouldn't have bought it tho because
it's overkill for what I do, but somehow it made sense at the time.

Doggone if I don't have a neighbour just like that.  He's a really nice guy but he is always outside working on his lawn, trimming trees, hedges and anything that grows, spray washing the driveway, etc.  Man, can I relate.  This is a great number.  I love it.  However, even if I played this for him I don't think he would relate.

Lyrics are wonderful. Does Neighbor Bob also work on his car in the driveway, slamming hoods, torque wrenches, revving engines? And does he have two dogs that howl whenever the ambulance comes by?

I also ran into your "The Promise You Made" - that's really chill, nice one!

LMAO!!! My name is Bob and everything you are saying is things that I do, using my blower to clean leaves and such things. I had to listen to this one a couple times. At first I thought : "Man, is this dude one of my neighbors trying to lash out at me for keeping my yard up?".......

Enjoyed hearing this one though, I like songs and music like this because they are someone based on real life. Lately I've been trying to learn how to fingerpick the guitar and write Folk songs. I like them because they speak of real life.

Enjoyed hearing this one very much! And Oh BTW : "I might be Neighbor Bob, but I keep my yard looking great and only do maintenance during legal hours to do so! "....

Okay, so I'm listening to this song again!
I can so relate (although my neighbor's name isn't Bob)...LOL
I live between a bunch of retirees (and I'm not!) so it's hard keeping up with all that "maintenance"..
