Who Is Next

After this year, my brother and a friend have died, I wonder who is next. This is my song about it.

I would be happy about the feedback.

Not a genre I listen to much, but it was entertaining if a bit sad.  Sorry about your loss.

Thank you for listening, eph221. I forgot my neighbor also died this year :(
I think the song hits the topic well.

Paul and Mesh thank you for listening. I know Hard Rock is out, but I'm a rocker like the eponymous song by Thin Lizzy.

I liked the dark vibe on this one...   The subject matter sucks, but good job turning it into something.  Nicely balanced mix too.

Oh..    And that main riff/melody was stuck in my head for a while after the song ended.

Hello Steve, LOL yes the matter sucks! But we all have to go, that's reality.
By the way, your music is absolutly great, sounds very complicated to play. How the heck can you remember these many parts?

    Hi, Harry,

First off, very sorry for your loss, I know how that feels because I lost both my parents, seven aunts and uncles and a cousin who was my same age, in a five year period back in the late 1980's.

Anyway, you guys did a fantastic job on this excellent dark rocker and cool video!

Great playing and performances on all the instruments, the vocals were perfect for the style of the genre, and the mix was clear and punchy with really nice separation.  The video was also really well done with cool production work.

Great stuff, Harry, top-notch, my friend!

    Have a Rockin' weekend!

    Harry,

I'm glad that you could turn the sadness into something positive. I really enjoyed the song and video both of which capture the subject matter well. Also sounds well recorded and a well balanced mix.

Dug the bass and guitar riff and the solo and really like the vocals from around 1:15. It kinda reminded me of someone (maybe David Draiman or someone in that genre).

    Anyway, great job all round.

    Happy Christmas!

I am sorry for your loss.  As one who has lost parents, friends (two who I have known for about 35 years), colleagues, and a mentor in the past few years, I can empathize.  The video was very good as were the performances, lyrics, and clear, clean mix.

    Well done.
