Sick and tired of being sick and tired? Damital!!

Seems like more and more these days there are all these new "diseases" popping up, the cures for which are often, uh, shall we say precious? And the side effects of some of these new drugs sound worse than the illnesses they are supposed to help.
Well, maybe we could sometimes heal ourselves.....
(BTW: none of these "diseases" are real. The ones in the song, I mean)
No offense or disrespect intended toward those with genuine medical issues.

Drums-AD2
Bass- Yamaha bass recorded direct (except for the breakdown parts, which are Cakewalk's Bass synth)
Guitars-Telecaster through TH3
Keys-NI "New York Grand"
Vocals run through Izotope Nectar 3
Background vocals by the "Tender Emotions" (me, lol)

Thanks, and I hope you like it!

    Luves it.

I actually took Damitol once. It gave me a case of the Futzitz. Then I gave up.

Put a smile on my face. Which is a big deal considering I took a double dose of F-itall last night (damitall just isn’t strong enough). Nice guitar playing (all the playing is good )- bass is nice and has a lot of punch, plenty of Judy on the piano as well. Clever lyric. Ray Stevens will be calling you later.

Love that driving beat and guitar playing. Lyrics made me laugh. Looks like you had a lot of fun with the rhyming dictionary.

Brilliant! Excellent lyrics, just missing recalcitrant plebney.

Brilliant indeed!  Excellent creativity with the lyrics, good country beat, great performance, and a mix that is as clear as a bell.
    Nice one!

"They can change your sex, but they can't change your ex"     uh, brilliant.

thinker's lyrics, pro backbeat, legit honky-tonk chops, vocals with clarity and mixed great with that slight slapback, clever as hell melodyne bgv.

    Did I forget anything? Nope.

So, two small things might be .  . . the fade-out and the end falls off the table pretty quickly. Maybe a longer fade, like a quick sunset?   And I listened on headphones, it had a full sense of bass for sure, which I love, but maybe half a db (or less) shaved off the bass during the vocals might be a nice lift. Dunno if you did that already.

Love your stuff, top friggin' drawer.

    cheers,
    -Tom

Uh. I take back what I offered about the bass. After several listens, it's just sweet in the pocket. So, nevermind!!!

This is very enjoyable and I think it'd be a real chick magnet in a bar.
