    Hi Fabio,
I had similar problems with my Sonar Platinum Manchester edition, last one lifetime released. Also AR TG Mastering would only work on left channel. I finally downloaded the new version of Cakewalk by BandLab and seems to have solved most problems. I found I had to click on the mono/stereo button a couple of times to get it to work on both Left & Right channels. Install was painless. It used all the existing paths, except needed to copy my templates over to the new 'Cakewalk Core' directory. It found almost all my old CW Sonar (since Studio 8/2007) plugins & worked, did loose a couple though. Also there is an upgrade from Waves for TG AR Mastering if U haven't already done so.

There is a few other improvements in the BandLab version. So I'm retiring my Platinum version and going with the new free one by BandLab. Just a few days ago.

I agree with Willif above Fabio. I tried running the TG plug which I bought last week in Splat, and it crashed immediately. In the latest Bandlab version, it runs OK, until I try to open something else, then crashes that too, but I'm having problems with opening too many windows at the moment, and my mouse and keyboard are going nuts. Seems I'm running out of graphic support and running into conflict problems since the last windows 10 update. I will start building another PC soon, dedicated only to audio. At present, my PC is split being setup for audio production, and video editing, and it's not working out. But until I finish an album that's now in the mastering stage, I'm not touching anything else, just suffering and finding workarounds. But, as Willif says, update, because the latest bandlab version does seem to fix a lot of issues such as yours. I believe you will be better off. x3e was OK, but only just !

Waves has had a few issues with TG Mastering chain initial release. They have released updates. Check for Waves updates. I believe they have many of the bugs worked out now.

Cheers guys, didn't know I received replies as it appears not getting notified anymore.

I sorted it after trying a Waves repairs and yes, checking for updates. Turns out it was my UFX's  driver had somehow become corrupted - although I could load other plug-ins -  didn't check em all mind you. It seemed to affect the TG but after re-installing my RME's drivers, it's worked fine. Quite strange but I guess somethings thrown it. I did do an upgrade of my Acronis True Image backup program...maybe?

Anyway, thanks for getting back guys, I appreciate your support. :-)

    Cheers

Then why does the TG mastering plug work fine in Splat for me?

Its something on your computer...a driver or a poor chipset somewhere would be my guess or depending on ram...a caching problem. A decent mid-range gaming laptop is all you need for audio these days...these types of machines tend have reasonable chipsets as well.

    Just my 2 cents :).

I'm using Cakewalk BTW. I've tested this in Splat and just on a new project with no plug-ins and it crashes it. So unless I re-install my RME UFX drivers for the session, it'll just crash...However in Samplitude Pro X3, it's loading without any problem.

So it appears there's something going on with Cakewalk.

Okay, it appears I need some specific troubleshooting support - Waves reckons the plugin is not support on Sonar but I told them I'm using Cakewalk, which is supported, so i hope they correctly read my email this time. Anyway, I've sent several crash reports to Cakewalk and selected 'be notified' but have not heard anything back...they seem to have gone through as opposed to the old Sonar send files which always seemed to have some connection problem.

So...to cut to the chase, how do I now get tech support for Cakewalk?

The crash reporter in CbB goes nowhere. The crash reporter process was shut down when Gibson shutdown Cakewalk. BandLab has not started up the process. Here is the BandLab support contact info.

Just an update. The plug-in is again working. I did the latest Windows update but I think it was updating my video card drivers that did the trick. It's strange that it's the only Wave's plugin to be affected like this but I guess you get that. Thanks to those who responded. :-)

PS. After filling out the Cakewalk Support form, I was contract in a couple of days, which is a great support time-line turnaround. Kudos!
