BandLab Assistant broken!

This evening when I launched BandLab Assistant, and clicked the Update button, it threw this error message at me:
Update Failed
Something went wrong. Please try again.
A few more tries still failed, even after rebooting my laptop.

What now??

Problem solved.  Manually installed it, and it works again.

Had to do the same for the last update.

Will probably never push the Update button again; just do it manually.

As mentioned on a similar thread, there's a known issue for some users updating from BandLab Assistant version 3.3 to the new one, 4.0. If you download the new version separately, it should install without issue. You can find it here.
