Once we release version 3.0 with GRANULAR synthesis + proper WAVETABLE EDITOR and if time permits SAMPLE EDITOR + new GBs of acoustic sample content it'll be "the new Alchemy" :)))

    Bulent(the developer) has said this before. He has given a few previews of the granular feature and a few pics of the wavetable editor, so hopefully it will be done by early next year. I think with a better layout and all of that stuff it will be hard to beat. I already suggest it all the time, but with those features and the price, it might be a no brainer.

    I love Alchemy and its rich sound banks....definitely would be getting the "New Alchemy" SM3.

    SM3 will be hard to beat for the upgrade price!  Free for existing "everything" bundle owners, and about $30 for SM2 owners ...

    Although I'm a big Synthmaster fan, I would assert that there's no way it can be called the "new Alchemy"unless it has resynthesis.  That more than anything else differentiated Alchemy from the rest of the pack.
