Recommend MIDI interface to replace Audiobox USB?

Hi Folks,

I'm using a PreSonus AudioBox USB with Sonar 23.6. I haven't switched to the new version from Bandlab yet.

This interface has several MIDI issues Cakewalk support could not previously resolve, and I need to replace it, at least for MIDI.

What is the best 1X1 or 2X2 MIDI interface for Sonar? I'd prefer something I can grab used from Ebay, and that will work with the BandLab version of Sonar just the same.

Thanks,

Ben

    Best is very subjective.

I use a Roland UM-ONE mk2 USB MIDI Interface and it has been flawless so far with CbB.

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
    CPU: i5 4670.
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

Roland UM-ONE is cheap and, like he said, works flawlessly.  I've used a  similar simple "interface on a wire" from EMU which worked equally well.  Here are some other options if you want more than one or two ports:
