EQ problem for Sonar 7

I am currently mixing a project and I am having trouble enabling the EQ for the recorded tracks. I have attempted to press the EQ button in the console view but EQ cannot be turned on for any of the tracks. For other projects I have recorded and mixed  I have not had a problem turning the EQ on for each track that requires it. But for this particular project EQ is disabled for all tracks at present. Can anyone inform me what I would need to do to access EQ when it will not presently work for all the tracks?

    Can you insert the Sonitus EQ via the plugin menu?

    FX (Bypass All Audio Effects) button (or equivalent in Sonar 7) enabled?

    Did you switch / upgrade system from 32 bit to 64 bit since you last worked on project?
