Reducing audience / crowd noise on music video

Hello: Seeking out methods if any for reducing the background/ crowd noise on a video I recently did during a gig. Not sure if its doable without too much damage to the song audio itself - my vocal and guitar. Thanks !

I use Rx (Izotope) and I suspect it would be your best bet. I also have Soundsoap which does a good job on podcasts with people in Nature. In both, I suspect there is a threshold limit where further crowd noise reduction will impact sound quality, so you'll get what you get. The full version of Rx is very expensive and used by pro film people for all kinds of background noise, but just the entry level version may help you out.

Thanks Robby - In Google search on the topic one person offered sort of an opposite method to filtering the crowd noise out - assuming an EQ is used to sort of isolate the frequency band. They suggested working with the music band-range itself and increase that above the crowd's.... With your ideas and that, I'll try this out tonight and scout those programs out you noted.  Thanks !!

Was it recorded in stereo? Do you have RMIX from Sonar X2? Between spacial and frequency filtering, you could get lucky.
