midi combine?

hello there (i posted this on cake-lab also)
is there a way maybe (CAL-script) to combine multi-midi tracks? midi notes..to one midi-tracks

    the only way I know is to save your song as midi file format 1 and then import from media browser onto a track with midi channel set to none
