    Hey Gugliel,
    I like it! Measure 8 and 9 are a handful but very interesting.
    What do you have going? Is this part of your great big piece?

    Wasn't sure about the 'double stops' (what do you call them on a guitar, anyway? chords?) --- if they can't be played enthusiastically, I'll have to change something. This is a new piece. Hanging around here, sometimes I get other ideas too (just wrote out an intro piano part for jmarkham and a sax part for hornplayer); already have the main jazz-like melody, a setting of a text by Richard Stoddard:

    Birds are singing round my window,
    Tunes the sweetest ever heard;
    And I hang my cage there daily,
    But I never catch a bird.

    So with thoughts my brain is peopled,
    And they sing all day long;
    But they will not fold their pinions
    In the little cage of Song!

    Well, I was kind of able to get it to sound ok by playing a Bb guitar bar chord position and finger picking it like a classical guitar, so it would sound a little odd. I'm not sure that I could get all of that with proper intonation on a fretless. Also, the Fmaj7 (F with E) sounds odd - there's a serious beat frequence there (interesting you've modulated to F and not just playing mixolydian on the F). So, I guess I might suggest something else there.

    I was just playing around, here are ok double stops for a bass: b3,3,4,5,b6,6,b7,8,9,..., avoid maj7 and b9; well unless you're going for special effects.

    Thank you, Ed -- changed to be plain accented line and updated above, I think.
