PADBANKS & NOTES
Good Morning...
I just bought the SP606 from Roland and it came with the P606 software. From what I have read this is similar to Kinetic so this is why I'm here. "Pad Mapping to Change the SP-606 Pitches to Scales or Chords"
There is a section on the P606 software called "Pad Mapping" and they have quite a few sounds that I want to use especially the piano keys... now what I want to be able to do is drop those keys into a PADBANK,. I have a 512 flash drive so I think I'm cool with space, but I have read the whole manual on this and still don’t know if this is possible,..
Basically what I want to do is use a PADBANK 1 to have my Piano keys 1/16 PADBANK 2 to have my drums, and so on. I am able to sample some nice beat 8 bar loop also a 16 bar loop but I want to be able to do more. So let’s say on PADBANK 20 I have 16 samples and I play my loop then I can switch to any PADBANK I want to play something on top of that loop but I don’t have anything to play? I can also take a loop and chop it up and get some sounds but that’s not what I want.
I know this is kind of confusing but please let me know if you have ideas or any suggestions on a good application I can use.
This is what I have SP606 from Roland.
Thanks so much in advance.
