slowing down an entire track, while

keeping other tracks at standard speed. is there a way to do this? the reason i ask, is because the current project i am working on, i wish to have one track slowed down behind in the distance. i am fiddling with pict shift, which is nice, but i still want to offset the whole thing in speed by a second or so. i guess i could always pitch it down and offset it in the track layout to be lagging (set it further in time by a second or so), but i dont think it will quite do what i wish. ill have to find out.

There are plugins which will do this. Take a look here.

I'm not sure but you might be able to do something with groove clips in hs.

it sounds like "stretch audio" might accomplish what you want.

You have to convert any audio tracks to groove clips before you can change the tempo.
