    Great sounds. Really nice.

However, I do not speak spanish. What is the translation into english. What is the title, and what are you singing about?

I like the beat. IMO I think that the tempo might be a little fast.

    Sonico,

Very nice and simple song, I like it. But there are some mixing issues though.

Reduce the guitars at 3-4kHz and boost the vocals at 3-4kHz to make the vocals stand out more in the mix. This also reduces the harshness of the guitars and the ear fatigue, wich is a typical problem with this kind of music. And it gives presence to the vocals, that sound a bit boxed.

Maybe this also helps the bassdrum to get a bit more definition. If not, boost it a bit at 3-5kHz. It has a very nice low punch, but the attack is burried when the guitars start.

A (very) little overall boost at 10kHz would also match my taste.

Is there any reverb? A (also very little) short reverb could help to a get better spacial placement.

    Thanks lcorona,

Drums are from DFH 1. I just added a little compression and a touch of eq.
Guitars are recorded direct and proccesed with NI Guitar Rig.

    Thanks Don,
    Glad you liked.

The title's translation is If you're not here. It's a song about a broken hearted man who relates his life's changes without his girl.

Hey Melf, Thanks for your comments.
    I'll try your suggestions tonight.

We have discussed about re-recording the lead vocal.

I'm open to the members' suggestions to see what can be fixed.
    Thanks again for your time.

    Sonico:

I too liked this song, a lot. I know only a bit about the term ear fatigue, but I seemed to experience in my right headphone, mainly from the gtr track. So maybe search the forum for that term or look at some of the posts about specific eq. I think member Chaz posted a list of links that included that topic.

Mr. Melf has given me some good advice recently, so take his words to heart.

    Good tune.

    Jeff.

    Thanks a lot Jeff.
I'am working on the song at this very moment. Basically trying to apply some of the suggestions that you and the others have given to me. Think that the voice and guitars are the problem areas so these areas I'am focusing on.
I really really appreciate the critiques of the members of this forum, so if someone else has something to say please do not hesitate.

    Thanks
