Need help with dropouts during record...

This is a new problem for me, and I can't figure it out. My Sonar ran flawlessly until just before my hard disk crashed a couple of months ago. Just before the crash Sonar kept stopping saying "Unable to complete recording. Hard disk may be full" I did all the normal fixes, adjusting latency, and so forth, but it kept stopping in the middle of recording. After the crash, I attributed the stopping to a failure of the hardware. I replaced the disk and reinstalled Windows SP2 and Sonar. I have my latency set high. I have a 1.5GHz system and 120 GB of HD space, and 1GB RAM, and I'm still getting the stoppages with the same messages. Has anyone else encountered this, and what was/is the solution? Is the problem because of SP2? Can someone help with this?

    You could add/modify this line in your AUD.INI file:

    DiskRecBufSize=256

    I think the line is there by default but with a value of 64...

    BTW, what soundcard, what drivers??? Be sure to have a decent soundcard running in WDM or ASIO mode, not MME.
