Who wants to bet that they will be the first one to get their V2 package? Beta testers already have the final version [barring any last-second bug-fixes], without any physical CD, packaging, or manual. If you don't count them, it's a crap-shoot as to who will 'win'. My guess is that those in the NorthEast US have the best shot at this, or those who were who were in their right mind at the order desk, and 1-day'ed it. I'd be willing to bet that I'm among the last, if you don't count those 'free upgraders' with the 4-6 week caveat. Although I'm only in Florida, I'm located deep in a swamp. AFAIK, the common carriers don't command any airboats in their fleet of vehicles, so they'll have to rent one, like all the other non-natives. Whomever does get it first, let's get one thing straight right from the get-go: You and I are no longer on speaking terms ... <g>

I just sent in for the free upgrade....so it will be a while. At least it will come about the time I just finish with finals :).

I'm not sure, anything I've ordered from Cakewalk in the past took an excruciating 2 weeks to get out the door. My wait for Sonar4 PE was record breaking. This is the first preorder I've taken with them though, so I don't know how much different that will be. I'm not expecting anything to arrive quickly, thus perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I also assume that the 21st is when it ships...not when it arrives, because I've recieved no ship notification thus far. I hope no one is disappointed when they don't get it exactly on the 21st (again, I hope for pleasant surprises.)

My guess is it will take 4-5 days. That would make it the 25 or 26. This is because there is no shipping on Sunday, Bad for us :(
When I ordered P5 it took 5 days last time.
They wont ship till tomorrow. They may not even ship then if there are some last minute bugs. But I don't think bugs will stop it. They would still ship and just make a one month post ship bug release.
But its close, very close now...

I will be the first to recieve Project 5 version 2. The reason I am so sure is because I have taken the following steps (in chronological order) to ensure that I will be the first to recieve Project 5 version 2: 1) I have ordered it online 2) I have recieved confirmation of above order 3) I have lived a good and honest life. 4) I have made offerings of blood and wine to Gnablogresh, ancient Sumerian God of War and Softsynth Studios. 5) I have crossed with silver the palms of every USPS, UPS, and Fedex employee in their respective Boston-Washington delivery routes. 6) He has waged cruel war... oops, never mind, wrong list. 7) I have agitated (respectfully) for t-shirt availablity so as to demonstrate my loyalty to the product. 8) I have spent hours mentally concentrating my name and address at the Cakewalk Shippin and Reciepting department. and, finally, 9) because I WANT IT.

I got the 2day FedEx deal, so it's Monday max for me. But I bet someone else gets theirs before me.
I wish they were shipping on Wednesday instead... Getting it Friday would be perfect. ...Maybe.
Just because Cakewalk is in the North East doesn't mean their distribution center (if they have one) is necessarily in the North East. Then again, it might also be ... they might be shipping in-house, but then again they might not ... we'll see!

Well, I am quite sure that it won't be me (yes, I did order it). This weekend is the NFL draft, and that means I am having my draft party (J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets). So I will barbeque 150 lbs of Beef Brisket and cook 200 lbs of hot-wings over the 2-day event. Last year I did 100 lbs of Brisket and 100 lbs of wings, and I ran out.
