Auto Pan?

I have Project 5 1.5 and I was just going through some of the sounds on the DS864 Sampler. I was wondering where I could find a good auto pan effect to go along with that Rhodes sample that it comes with.

You can do this internally to the sampler; no external effects required. Go to one of the LFOs. [I use LFO3 for panning, and leave the other two for operations that involve the extended destination choices.] Choose Pan in the Dest, and select a Shape [sine is smooth]. Turn up the Depth control, and select a speed of panning with either the Rate control, or te Rate in conjunction with the Host Sync enabled [for synchronized panning to tempo]. The 'routing' is already hard-wired for you, so that's about it.

I've got a freebie VST Autopan plugin floating around the HD somewhere, if you'd prefer to use that. Let me see if I can hunt down the original download link to it.

Yeh, using the LFO in the sampler works great for autopanning. I've used that method a few times.

You are the man. Thanks for the info. To be honest, I did figure it out before checking back, but thanks. I just played with LFO 2 and that did it. I will go back and try to use LFO 3.
