EMU 1010 soundcard

I'm having trouble with Music Creator 2003 seeing the EMU 1010 ASIO PCI card. It came with the EMU 1820 package w/Cubase VST. Cubase is greek to me and I cut my teeth on Music Creator and want to stick with that. I can record fine with Cubase VST but no luck with MC2003. I've click on the wave profiler and it says its successful.

Best I can do is give you an in depth review and operational discussion by CakeWalk Net - [Not affiliated with Cakewalk.]

Assuming that your drivers are up to date and registering in MUsic Creator, this article may be your best source of relevant information.

This one is full of technical information from a fairly reliable source.

Thanks very much......great info there. With my setup I need a program that will recognize ASIO and it looks like MC2003 doesn't except that. I looked at MC version 2 and if I'm correct I think it will except ASIO.

No you need MC Pro at least to see ASIO, and that will be a big help, ASIO drivers will give you great response, i use them on my M-Audio 24/96 and have little or no latency on synths.
