annoying clicks in the right channel

I've been doing some mixing and a lot of times when I record I have to stop, close Sonar, sometimes even restart my computer to eliminate these annoying clicks. They're only in the right channel and they come and go. I use a P4 512 mb w/ S3PE and lots and lots of plugins.
Also, I've noticed that some synths and effects, like Antti's Asynth and Simuanalog's Guitar Suite, will have no audio in the right channel and I don't know why. Anybody else have problems like this?
Also, I dithered down several songs I'd recorded earlier tonight and before I was done I discovered that my C drive had gone from over 8 gigs free space to just over 100 megabytes! What's happenning when I do this? is it dithering everything in the project at once and just not telling me? I'd only selected 1 clip at a time.
Well I guess that's enough complaints for one post.

    Moe:
I have been there (exatly in the Right Channel - I was using Sonar P4 with Delta 44 - when I switched from ASIO to WDM/KS the clicks would show up - back to ASIO the clicks were gone. Then I updated the WDM drivers from M-Audio (believe it or not they came out the day before I noticed the issue!) and bingo - no clicks pops or junk - go figure. Who to blame - not sure I only that that nailed it right down for me.

Not sure what interface you're using but last year an m-audio update specifically dealt with noise in the right channel concerning sonar 3.

Oops, forgot to mention, I also have a Delta 44 which I bought earlier this year. Great response.
