noise spikes with amplitube

i just got GTP3 yesterday and havnt been able to get rid of these noise spikes when i record. i pluged my guitar directly into my sound card and record without any effects turned on. i play it back and it sounds fine, but when i add amplitube, i get a loud crackly noise spike every couple seconds when i play it back. any ideas?

You get that because you have not registered Amplitube. Untill you register it you will get the digital pulse every 3 or so seconds. So, the answer is to register.

as usual Zuma's hit it on the head

for me, the spikes didn't happen until after the 30-day trial period, but maybe the newer packages are making users register right wawy, or something. either way, register amplitude and spikes will be gone.
