recording fl studio4's audio in sonar 2

I've recorded some tracks in FL studio 4 and wish to record the audio from this in Sonar 2 so that I can then mix down the audio into mp3 using sonar 2. I can get Sonar to be a rewire host for FL studio but can't seam to record my FL music onto it. Any ideas why not and what I can do to fix the problem or tell me which part of the Sonar or FL manual I need to look at? I could be aimlessly searching through them for days otherwise. Any suggetions (preferably in idiot proof language for a non techie person) would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks. Cherie

i used FL Studio As Stand Alone not as rewire...
but since it can be used as rewire.. make sure :
1-midi track in sonar has the midi output assigned to FL Studio track
2-FL Studio Should Route Audio Back To SONAR (As Rewire Should Do)
3-create an Audio Track in SONAR and make its Input Assigned To FL Studio Output
4- that same Audio Track in SONAR : make its output assigned to your Soundcard's Output

NB: when you insert ReWire Device... Steps 3 & 4 Are Done Automatically

if all that does NOT work, search in this forum for REWIRE . you'll find some interesting and helpfull Stuff

Thanks. I'll look into it when I have the time. For now I've found out I can import a wav file into Sonar which I recorded in FL studio. That will do for the moment.
