New Project File Dialog Box

Hey All,

I am a new user to Guitar Tracks and I'm trying to set it up using the user guide. The downloading went fine but when I went to create a new project, the new project file dialog box did not appear after I went from File to New. (P. 53 in user guide) Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I appreciate the help.

    welcome to the board shmev

    i think that particular box only opens if you have "per project" audio folders established and therefore the new project is creating a new audio folder (as oppossed to just a new project (.cwp) file and the soon to be created .wav files that will be in the default "audio" folder.) Can always, upon opening a new project, just hit "save as" and create a new name for the project.

    Can you record? Playback and hear the audio? Monitor in real time?

    If so, you've got the important things going and you're set.

    if you're having problems getting sound, recording, etc, definitely ask questions. folks on this board are real helpful.
