Patches for DXI

anybody know where you can get some good sounds for velocity and DS864. Specifically realistic drums and strings. any suggestions?

    Velocity can load various types of audio files, though setting up the drumkits yourself can be a tedious process, and DS-684 can load .wavs and soundfonts. But why not try Project5.com first? All you have to do is create an account; lots of stuff there.

    Hey Brian! Welcome!
    I don't know if you realized this, I always like to point it out....

    If you click on a cell in your Velocity synth and direct your Velocity browser to the Dimension/Multisamples folder you can use the percussion that Rene & Co. have incorporated in there! Velocity Loves Dimension!! YAY... instant Velocity Expansion Pack!!

    Well, i have spent many months tweaking the velocity drum sampler with mix matched samples from velocity and FXpansion DR008. Yes it isvery tetious that is why i was looking for some other presets (im lazy) Unfortunatly, i donot have P5 v2 I dont have the money not to upgrade( how pathetic) so i don't have dimension. But that reminds me, anyonw know if you can get a copy of deminesion and the samples with out having to get the full upgrade. I run all my soft synths through sonar 4. It just has a better midi interfasem and much easir to record my band with.

    Rene has been rumoured to have said that if he was still an independent synth designer he would probably have sold the Dimension synth for at least as much as his z3ta+ synth and probably much more!! ....that should tell you why the Dimension isnt available as a separate entity. They're actually giving the darn thing away at $79 to upgrade.
