audio fx list cleanup

I had bunch of audio fx that I demo'ed or from other app show up in the audio fx list. After removed the plug-in files, the audio fx list still shows them. Does anyone know how to clean this list up to keep only the stuff you want to see ?

If they were vst then run the cakewalk vst adapter.

Use the Plugin Manager to exclude unwanted plugins. If you haven't installed the Plugin Manager, it's on your install CD. (Unless you're using S2, then you'll have to download it from the S2 support page) HTH.

I got the VST part. The other fx were from the creative card that I installed before, also the sonitus DEMO, I believe were leftover from the Sonar4 demo. It's pretty good that sonar recorgnizes all the fx I have or had. I also looked for all the viewable files to see if the info is stored somewhere and can be edited, no dice.

When you start up the VST adapter, click the button that says Resert all..., and then scan for plugins again. This should remove the ones you uninstalled from your list.
