why is PO loading when track is opened?

Dudes:

I created some audio from a MIDI source track using a piano sample from Personal Orchestra. Then I deleted the source track and the track inserted by adding a DXi, so there's no trace of Personal Orchestra - all I have no is a destination track of audio.

Why then does Personal Orchestra load the sample when I open the track? I see 'loading sample' on a splash screen and a status bar as the sample loads but there's no longer any association with PO in the song...

    You probably needed to delete the track completely, not by adding a DXi. Did you check the Event View to make sure nothing was there?
