Nudging and Moving Selections

I've only used Music Creator for a handful of projects, but I know somehing is different this time.

In the past wehn I've used the program you could move passages, choruses, entire tracks a little bit at a time so that they better line up. However, NOW the program will only let me move things in line with the next measure, so I'm bound by where the PROGRAM wants me to drop a section into the track.

What's different? What did I change, and how do I change it back?

At the top of the track list is a setting for snap to grid. Pick it and you can addjust the grid to measures, notes, or triplets of notes, or you can pick the time setting and get down to the frame accuracy, which is not a musical setting, but is very small, almost minute, and you can then move your clips very preciselly, although not to a musical settting. Sixteenth or thirtysecond notes should get you there if you wish to maintain a music value. Hope this helps

Thought I'd update my profile and include a picture. Are you sure you would want to kiss this?
