Sonar 4 and Sound Forge8.0

Hey Guys,

I am trying to get Sound forge to record from Sonar. Sound Forge is saying that the drivers are being used by another device(sonar).

Any input on how to get things running?

    Why are you doing this?
I'd tend to export the data out of Sonar and import it back into SF. BTW, if you have not done so, upgrade to SF8.0a.
    Cheers

I've had this problem before. It seems to vary with different sound cards. Make sure in Cakewalk, under Audio options it is set to allow other apps to share the sound card; and make sure there are no sound card-specific parameters that might be causing your problem. Other than that, as Fearful said, try using the export from Sonar... this does mean that you'll need to record any audio from external keyboards controlled by Sonar's midi (which is generally a good idea anyway)... other than that, everything should export fine.
