question about latencey in 64 bit

Hey i read on a posting someguy who said,now that he is using 64 bit he can finally use software monitering. is it true for eveyone else using 64 bit, or does the circumstances vary according to what one is doing? what advantages does 64 bit give to you? thanking you in advance for time.
